The LSJ-10 is a hydraulic tilt machine for welding the root pass on long seams of rolled plate vessel shells.
The LSJ-10 replaces traditional yet unsafe practices and procedures of rigging the shell to attain the appropriate angle for welding.
This innovative device allows the welder to load the shell horizontally, clamp it into place and tilt it to the appropriate angle required to perform the down-hand weld.
